Ayaan Adam – Senior Director & Chief Executive Officer, AFC Capital Partners
Ayaan Adam is Senior Director & CEO of Africa Finance Corporation’s wholly owned AFC Capital Partners. Ms Nana Eshun – Director & General Counsel
Nana Eshun may be the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary associated with Corporation with oversight responsibility for corporate and legal Secretarial functions. Ms. Eshun is really a finance lawyer with more than three decades experience that is the legal profession and professional expertise in infrastructure financing across Africa and internationally.
Nana’s experience includes representing AFC as a project developer and financier of numerous corporate transactions covering project finance, financial obligation and equity investments, general public private partnerships in key infrastructure sectors of normal resources (oil & gas and mining), power, transportation, hefty industry and telecommunications as well as business borrowings and investment funds.
Just before joining AFC in 2008, Nana struggled to obtain the African Development Bank (AfDB) where she led on the legal areas of financing of projects infrastructure that is covering for economic development. She also represented the Ministry of Finance/Government of Ghana as lead finance lawyer mainly on the West African Gas Pipeline Project. Before that, she worked as a solicitor with City law that is commercial in the United Kingdom – Denton Wilde Sapte Solicitors and Eversheds Solicitors on private finance effort projects.
Nana Eshun is dual qualified as a Barrister-at-Law, Ghana (1987) and Solicitor, England and Wales (1994). She holds a BA (Law & Sociology) through the University of Ghana, BL (Barristers Law Practicing Certificate) through the Ghana class of Law, Law Society Finals (UK Solicitors Qualifying program) from the College of Law, Guildford (UK) as well as an LLM (International Business Law) through the University of London.
Mr. R sevelt Ogbonna
R sevelt Ogbonna is Group Deputy Managing Director of Access Bank PLC and has over twenty years’ experience in banking across treasury, commercial, business and investment banking.
Ahead of his visit, he had been the Executive Director, Wholesale Banking Division of Access Bank PLC. He is on the Boards of several institutions Access that is including Bank Limited, Access Bank (Zambia) Ltd and Central Securities Clearing System PLC. In 2015, he was chosen as one of the Institute of Overseas Finance (IIF) Future Global management.
A Bachelor’s is had by him degree in Banking and Finance from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and it is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Senior Executive Fellow of Harvard Kennedy class, an alumnus of Harvard company class and a CFA charter owner.
He holds a Master’s level in Business management from IMD company Sch l, and Executive Master’s level in Business Administration.
Mr. Ahmad Abdullahi
Ahmad Abdullahi is Interim Chairman regarding the Board Audit and Compliance Committee. He had been Director and Head of Banking Supervision Department at the Central Bank of Nigeria ( N) until February 2020.
He joined up with N being a manager and rose to Director. At N he oversaw Retail Banking Services at three N branches just before other senior functions in N’s Banking Supervision Department. He had been promoted to Director Governor’s Department in 2012 then to Director of Other banking Institutions Supervision Department in 2014.
Formerly he was a Lecturer at Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. He’s a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics through the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, and is a member of this Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and a certified compliance & ethics pro.
A Master’s is held by him level in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in Banking
